ROZLYN DE BUSSEY
I am a full-time professional artist who has been working in glass for over 30 years. My early involvement in glass was in the areas of traditional stained and painted glass and I have also had the good fortune of having many talented artists teach me my craft. These artists include Paddy Robinson, Maureen Cahill, the late Cherry Phillips, Klaus and Isgard Moje and the late Anne Dybka to name just a few who have influenced me and my life's training.
Since my beginnings in glass making processes as an arts practice and my ongoing personal studies, I have developed and combined these skills in various other methods of glass forming, including carving and engraving techniques, as well as using vitreous enamels and lustres in warm and cold glass technical processes.
My more recent works are in warm glass production, involves kiln casting, fused incalmo and surface painted glass, as well as glass engraving and carving processes.
